1912 Born in Saskatchewan, Canada Grew up in Vancouver 1931 Moved to the United States Become an American citizen 1947 Attended the summer field school of university of New Mexico After hearing lectures by the Zen Buddhist scholar D.T.Suzuki at Colombia, Become interested in Asian thought 1977 Disappearing from the art world Built an adobe home for herself in New Mexico 1993 Moved to a retirement residence in Taos 2004 Passed away in TaosExhibition
